Inclusion vs Non inclusion
...clusion is that the students do not get taught the proper way because they need more one on one teaching. I feel that inclusion is a far better idea because of the fact that after they get out of school they no longer have a need for a lot of the stuff that they learned in school, but they do have one need that they wouldn’t learn if they stayed in their special education classes, that is people skills. If you have good people skills you can do many jobs rather than using just your brain. If you can learn a trade that you don’t really have to read or write in but you can talk and communicate well with others than you have a lot better of a chance in getting that job then the person who cannot communicate well with people. Allowing the student to interact with other students can be life changing. They have a chance to meet their best friend or future spouse; they also have a chance to learn from other students. If you put the students in groups you could have many different levels of students and other students teach students all the time. This really allows for the learning process to take control and for your classroom to grow as a whole. Allowing a student to be included in a class also makes them feel as if they are worth something and have a chance in life. Usually students stuck in special ed...
