...checked by nurese who adminstered the medication. The most common error was from incorrect dosages being given. To reduce errors the Greely Group was hired to come into the hospital, conduct studies and put together a plan for reducing error quickly. This would involve re-training the entire hospital staff, about 4200 people and a Medical staff of about 1400. All employees would go thru an error prevention training program that would allow for follow-up studies in the future. Physicians as well would also complete this course.
