... king. Lady Macbeth takes the daggers and does it herself. Macbeth is falling apart while Lady Macbeth is still calm as if nothing has happened. She actually seems a little annoyed at Macbeth for being so shaken up over the whole thing. In the next scene the death of the king is reveled to the others. Macbeth returns to the room and kills guardsmen then says, “O, yet I do repent of my fury, That I did kill them.”(II, iii, 93-94). After this is said Lady Macbeth faints. She only wanted one death not three. She did not think that Macbeth had it in him and was completely shocked. It is her fault that the three men are dead. If Lady Macbeth were not so greedy and persuasive then Macbeth would have never killed the king. Now he is so paranoid about the murder he killed the two others to cover the first up. Lady Macbeth has created a monster. Macbeth is so out of state at this point he is hiring murders to kill Banquo, his friend. He wants the crown to himself and is worried that someone will take it from him. Lady Macbeth is still strong but her greed has spread to her husband and now she cannot calm him. In act three scene two She tries to stop Macbeth from killing Banquo she tells him that it is not needed. Macbeth does not listen. At the dinner party Macbeth sees Banquo’s ghost in his seat.
