...h Korean Peoples Army from ROK, also known as South Korea. In both of these wars North Korea and Iraq invaded another independent territory. The both went against their neighboring countries to unite them by force. In these two wars large coalitions were used against the other countries. In desert Storm the large coalition of the United States were used against Iraq. They came in to help and were a major part in the war. In the Korean War they had the United Nations forces coalition that was used against South Korea. They were also a major part in the war and helped out greatly. The two coalitions made the war what it was. If they hadn’t have helped out the wars wouldn’t have been as effective as they were. In both of these wars common tactics were used. In Desert Storm, Iraq and coalition forces leased for agreement during the war. They needed a common agreement to stop fighting. Similarly in the Korean War, North Korea and the United Nations also needed a fire agreement. The U.N. needed an agreement to stop fire, the same as the U.S. needed to stop fire from Iraq.
