They helped them with every decision made. “The women came out of their houses to stand beside their men.” The women stood there ready to serve their depressed husbands. They fulfilled their duties as a wife and a friend. Women also encouraged the men, just by being a wife. This is because the men want the women to be proud of them and the men want to prove that they are a first-class husband. Women encouraged the men verbally and also mentally. The children displayed a mood of confusion, which added to this difficult time.
