...e were designated to search the premises. The man was extremely nice. I'm never nice at four o'clock in the morning! Then the man smiled. He had an eerie smile, almost too convincing. I asked the gentleman about the shriek that was reported. He told my partners and I that he was having a bad dream and he yelled out in the middle of the night. I don't know many people who scream loud enough to wake up their neighbors in the middle of the night. Then the man who answered the door showed us the old man's living quarters. We searched the area extremely well. The roommate than explained to us how the old man is absent from the residence at this point of time. After that the gentleman who answered the door then showed us the old man's treasures. Then we realized that that this man was telling the truth. Who would kill a room mate for no apparent reason. This man was not that suspicious. We exited the room. Then the man pulled out a chair, then told us to take a seat. It was four o’clock in the morning. We were exhausted.
