Each article involved different people working together for one common goal. The Lewis and Clark Expedition especially showed numerous people coming together to do many different things. There were translators, laborers, and many others doing things behind the scenes. Lewis and Clark did get most of the credit for the expedition, however if it was not for the tedious work many people did, Lewis and Clark would not have done the tremendous job they accomplished exploring the land.
