Mystery Moore Theater 2000

...h, that is also, how occults and gangs are formed. The problem with this methodology is that when you found out for having been misleading with one aspect of your story, it is assumable that that there is even more undiscovered. It is reasonable to assume that if someone has a strong point it can stand on it’s own. They would have no need to make desperate attempts at convincing people they were right. Psychologists say that you yell when your point is weak. Moore is “yelling” through his blatant, out of context arguments and misleading reports. For instance, the clip of Bush in the classroom after the planes crashed is incredibly over dramatized and unfairly presented. When a secret service whispers in his ear, “a plane crashed into one the towers” no one knew that it was terrorist activity. What was Bush supposed to do? He obviously received very little information, and it really would not be his responsibility to know if he needs to leave or stop what he is doing. Bush was not receiving enough information to make that decision. Moore makes is seem that they tell Bush they’re at war right off the bat and then he just sits like a big idiot for half an hour thinking about how he’s a terrible president and it’s all his fault. Moore made it feel like he sat there for an eternity, when actually, it took seven minutes and most of them were after the second he received a report on what was happening. It shows a seriously low intelligence of U.S. citizens if they think this is in any way significant information. Moore conveniently leaves out the fact that after 420 seconds he does end his time at the school and leave. North Americans should be thanking George W. Bush for having the courage to do the right thing even if it potentially costs him this next election. History will judge Bush well for the war on terror. Is it wrong that we have forced a totalitarian and evil dictator down from his thrown? Saddam Hussein needed to taken out of power. Even if weapons of mass destruction are never found, is it believable that he did not pose a threat to democracy and freedom and truth? Obviously, he did, but people are more entertained by Moore’s rendition of Iraq than the truth. Michael Moore knows that Iraq was not filled with smiling happy children riding their bikes and playing in parks. He also knew that the vast majority of bombs did not injure women and children. He knows there was oppression and suffering but he wants to get your emotion fired up and get you hating Bush so that he can make his point. That makes him a deceitful liar. If he will make Iraq ‘a friendly country that never posed a threat to America’ then why would people be inclined to believe anything else in his film? It is along the same lines as a woman who has an affair with a man who says he will leave his wife for her. She believes him when he says he loves her and will never leave her, but why? If he left his wife for her, he will leave her for the next best thing somewhere along the way. A man’s word is his bond. Michael Moore’s words were provoking but worthless because they were misleading. It should also be noted that although Moore hates Bush and wants so desperately to expose him as this terrible enemy, he couldn’t find too many character flaws. The only even slightly incriminating footage he has of Bush is from the golf course he gives a brief rendition of some speech and then says, “now watch me hit this drive”. It really is not incriminating though, because you have no idea who is filming, who Bush is speaking to, or even in what context. It’s obvious that the clip picks up in the middle of one of his sentences, and the viewer is just left to assume that Bush is a heartless golf fanatic. The truth is, in a two-hour film, if that is the worst thing you can dig up on a president at the end of his term then you should be impressed. Moore uses all the footage he can find of Bush playing golf and fishing to imply Bush is dumb and lazy. You could make ANY president look like all he did was recreation is if you only use those clips. I’ve only been snow skiing six or seven times in my life and if someone really wanted to, they could edit a film in such a way that it seemed that skiing was my entire life focus. The point is that b...
