...Bush (Republican party) is very traditionalists and he appeals more to religious voters and the wealthy. John Kerry doesn’t support abortion, but he won’t make it illegal and will allow each state to make its own judgement on the matter. Bush, on the other hand, will elect supreme court judges that will make it illegal. George Bush is also against gay marriage. Our world is changing and we need a President that understands and adjust to our needs. Kerry believes marriage is between a man and a women, but he realizes that marriage is a personal issue and will also allow each state to make its’ own decision. National security is also a huge issue that our country faces. George Bush has done absolutely nothing to insure our safety. He has only increased the threats that our country already has. Kerry’s priority is to catch Osama Bin Laden and make sure he can’t cause any more danger to the world. Bush was also driven into war by selfish reasons and hasn’t shown any strategy or true skills as Commander in Chief. I have to give credit to George Bush for his strong persuasive skills. He has managed to confuse the public understanding of the war. We have been lead to believe that we are fighting a war against terrorism, when in reality we are fighting in Iraq for oil. The real terrorists are in Afghanistan, and if you haven’t noticed Bush hasn’t even mentioned invading Afghanistan. It must be obvious that I side with Kerry. My decision may be because I am young and very open minded and it may be stereotypical, but I go for my best interest and what is overall the best choice. President Ge...
