In single sex environments, it has been proven that girls work better producing higher grades achieve higher self esteem, much higher grades, and are more successful in their careers. Studies have also shown that girls who have been in single sex schools all their lives who then go to universities have much lower grades because of shyness and many think that this should stop. On the other hand, mixed sex schools are thought to be a better choice because they prepare students for work environment which are obviously mixed and i allow the students to learn to interact with each other from an early age. Another advantage of mixed schools is that it creates an atmosphere of completion between the two sexes which usually results in higher productivity which will then lead to better grades.
