When someone abuses alcohol their hair tends to by dry, they tend to be undernourished, they get cracked lips, and aggravating acne; it also makes the eyes look glassy and gives the skin a puffy, broken vein look. Alcohol’s first effect as it reaches the outer brain is to distort a person’s judgment and lower their inhibition to do things. As a student consumes more alcohol, their coordination and perceptions are affected, and they have memory blackouts. As the alcohol reaches their mid-brain the student may experience confusion and may lapse into a coma. Alcohol use is also linked to cancer of the mouth, esophagus, stomach, and intestines.
