Davinci's Inquest

... who has been beaten to death in the middle of the road, with the only witness being a local heroin addict. Apparently a pilot, who seemed to be completely innocent, is found to be the killer. The second crime scene that is introduced is the situation of a young woman who has died in a house fire. The father is not convinced that the department is doing all it should, so he decides to go ahead and hire his own personal investigator to explore some other avenues. The private investigator seems to find new evidence to prove that the accident was in fact a murder, but is later busted for paying supposed witnesses to lie. The third one is kind of random, and was there to either kill time, or to come across as quirky. Two men who look exactly the same are both found washed up on the coast, and each of them have a 50 dollar in their shoe. It turns out that they were twins from out of town who had rented a car to drive out to the ocean. Unfortunately, once they got there they decided to go for a walk and the tide comes in and drowns them. As far as casting goes, I have to admit that I found Nicholas Campbell (DaVinci) instantly likeable, but that might have been because I knew he had the same last name as me.
