In six months new technology will be developed that is twice as fast as your new one. Today we see a computer as something that we sit down at a desk to use. We see it as a machine with a monitor, keyboards and a case. The computers of tomorrow won’t be on top of desks, and they most likely won’t have a monitor, keyboards and a case. As future comes computers will rapidly change. The computers itself will disappear watches, microwaves and even doors will be computers. They will have the ability to be controlled from anywhere in the house. Today we control each device in the home individually, whether it is the television or telephone. Additionally, they will be possible to use computers whether we want to lock a door or play a favorite song. Schools will go through many of same changes as homes. Computers will allow teachers to do so much more for their classes. Instead of simply lecturing on a topic, a teacher can download material from the internet and then show that to students. Students will then able to ask questions. There will be online communication programs. Teachers will have access to incredible amounts of information to provide to their students. Teachers will begin to fill different roles as technology enters to classroom. Teachers will need to coordinate information for their students. The focus of students wiil not be on teachers as much, but will be in the information that students can compile from the internet. The internet will provide videos, articles and even chats for students. The blackboard of today will be replaced with a giant computer screen in the future. This screen will be use to play videos and websites and will double as a writing board. Each student will have a computer that will allow interaction in the class.
