When the Tsetse fly bites you it goes through your blood streams for a while until it finds the nervous system that will effect you with the beginning stages the disease will stay in your body until you die or until you get heeled clearly. The first stages of the Sleeping Sickness are high fevers that will reach up to over a hundred degrease which will be very painful. After the high fevers you would get very bad headaches from the bite you would also be sweating extremely a lot. You would also experience a sudden weakness in the body from the fevers and headache. After the weakness you would notice that you have very swollen Lymph Nodes. Then you would have a very bad rash. You would probably have the rash on your whole body may be even in the private areas of the mid section. This disease needs a warm blood stream to live a make its host ill from the bite. The disease is a worm like motion and look. The way that you can transfer the disease is to have any sexual contact such as kissing, having sex and other things like that. There are over fifty five thousand people have this disease in Africa alone. The Sleeping Sickness is also in other parts of the world as well as Africa. Even know that the Sleeping Sickness originated in Africa. The two people that identified the disease are Ford and Dutton who were two English physicians. The prevention for the Sleeping Sickness is to try and eliminate to Tsetse Fly all together so that the people of Africa don't get infected. Another reason that you need to get rid of the Tsetse Fly is because you don't want it leaving Africa and starting a new population. The way that the Africans try and kill the Tsetse Fly is by spraying Insecticide. It is a proven fact that the Insecticide has been killing the Tsetse Fly the Africans use it around their houses so that they wont get bitten as easily as with out it.
