When the disciples went to the tomb, they had realized they went to the wrong one, the Pilate had to show them where Jesus was, some thought Jesus’ body was stolen-Jesus told them after three days he is going to rise again. The soldiers secured the tomb until the third day, they were watching out for the disciples, that they wouldn’t steal him away. Some teachers and religious leaders have taught about various philosophies that they’re Christ or God himself, but these people are now dead. There is a dramatic difference between all of these leaders and Jesus Christ. Even though some of them represent God or to be God himself, these leaders are now dead, buried, gone and their graves are still occupied, but Christ is still alive, He stepped out of His grave the third day. Without the resurrection Christianity would have been stillborn, we couldn’t have a living faith if all we have is a dead savior. Without the resurrection, Christian faith might have been a commendable way of life, but Jesus would be just another great teacher who lived his life and is dead. Christianity would not be the truth if Jesus did not rise from the dead. The resurrection placed Christ in a class by himself, and made him unique.
