His execution would also mean the murder of the lawyer and painter that were developed during the 18 years spent in prison accused of homicide. “He began to paint in 1993 because they forbade him the legal advice that the other inmates were allowed”, affirms Francisco de Paula president of the association “Vida y Libertad” (Life and Liberty) who travel throughout Spain showing the public the art of Mario Flores as a sign of solidarity and rejection of capital punishment.
