Long runs and swims are among the methods that can build cardio endurance. Muscular Strength is the ability of a muscle to exert force for a brief period of time. Muscular Endurance is the ability of a muscle, or a group of muscles, to sustain repeated contractions or to continue applying force against a fixed object. Flexibility refers to the range of motion possible at a joint. This range is dependent upon gender, age, and body composition. Body Composition is often considered a component of fitness. It refers to the makeup of the body in terms of the ratio of lean mass to fat mass.
