The Election

...had to, “confront threat to America before it’s too late.” And “Saddam threat due to weapons of MD”, according to Bush’s view on the subject. We got rid of an evil tyrant whose crimes of genocide against his own people can be compared to Hitler’s (gassing Turkish village to test effects of chemical warfare). Kerry “gave the green light to bush about Iraq” and voted for America to go to war. However Sen. Kerry totally contradicted himself when he says “we rushed into it”. How much sense does it make to vote for America to go to war but not fight in it after declaring war with Iraq? The next big issue to address is gay marriage/rights. The gift, a Remington Model 11-87 shotgun commonly used in hunting and recreational shooting enjoyed by millions of Americans, would be banned as an “assault weapon” under a bill that Kerry is co-sponsoring.” (Sporting Clays Magazine December 04’ issue page 10) What irony an “avid” hunter and shooter banning the very tool you need in order to do both. The last issue in my essay and probably most pivotal in affecting your decision at the p...
