Due to Egypt’s extreme hot climate nudity was common amongst the Egyptians. The typical garment for men was the loin cloth ,usually made out of linen and colored white. White was the favored color for the Egyptians. The loin cloth or skirt could be draped, wrapped, pleated, starched etc. Women in general wore three pieces. First, the skirt, usually worn high-waisted with straps to hold it up. Then the T-shaped tunic and shawl.
