I was hit in the face with a line drive, but it seemed directly after I heard the ping of a bat. So after that every time I heard the ping of a bat, I would either flinch, or close my eyes. So from then on I kept getting hit with baseballs until I realized that I needed to keep my eyes open. Operant conditioning learning is a good way to try and teach someone not to do something. If I had not been hit with the ball, I would never have closed my eyes after that time and never gotten hit again. I think if I were to come up with my own way to teach someone I would use chance more than anything else. I would try and teach people to use their own instinct, and try and teach them that first instinct is usually always right. For instance I would have 2 buzzers with electrical currents going through them. I would not tell the person which was which. So when they pressed the correct one they would n...
