Taking a Stand By Laurel Householter I have learned a lot in D.A.R.E. this year. I thought it would be so obvious. I mean- I already knew to stay away from drugs and violence!! It’s kind of like...duh! However, this program has been an awesome learning experience. I can’t believe it’s almost over! I enjoyed doing the D.A.R.E. program. It was really fun! We learned so much. We also got to do role-play which I absolutely love! Officer Miller really makes a huge effort to spend time with us not only in D.A.R.E. but also at recess and lunch.
