The coming upon of the Jekyll/Hyde residency was a good way to introduce the character and the relationship between Utterson and Jekyll. The intro of Hyde was a good foreshadowing of future events. After running into the little girl, and his subsequent detention by Utterson, the way he paid off the family with a check written on Jekyll’s account gave us some insight as to the deviousness of Hyde.
