Dictionary and cyclopaedia
...o list all those things in it which don’t come from anything else, can’t be created by any rules – so the dictionary contains of the speaker’s encyclopaedic knowledge – that’s why we call it cyclopaedia. The dictionary comprises all the morpheses – so all the elements which can’t be devided into smaller parts still have meanings e.g. dog, love, etc and also smaller elements like in,as,etc. The compound forms of nouns are not easy to illustrate. Those compound words which can be created by other elements can’t be in the dictionary.
