According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, working mother with children one year or younger reached its peak in 1998 at 64 percent. That number fell in 2001 to 60.4 percent. This number has continued to drop annually. The women may be on to something though. Without the forty to sixty hours of work each week, marriages no longer struggle for time and energy when it comes to family togetherness. It’s hard for many females to understand why a woman would choose to throw her college education away. Especially after so many women worked so hard to give them the opportunity to have equality in the workplace, a right many women never experienced in their lifetime.
