During the introduction, both, President Bush and Senator Kerry were very straight forward, thanking the University in which the debate was held, the reporter and the audience. As they moved to the first subject, homeland security, Kerry started to explain his plans to ensure the security in the U.S.. He also mentioned a few wrong decisions that President Bush made; such as the war in Iraq, focusing on Saddam Russen and not focusing on capturing Osama Bin Ladden. During Bush’s response, he made it clear that Kerry also thought that Saddan Russen was dangerous to U.S.. As the debate moved on, the subjects changed. Health care was one of the subject, in which both Bush and Kerry did not spend much time on. However, they spent a considerable amount of time talking about taxes and jobs. Bush lost a bit of self-control when Kerry attacked him by announcing how much jobs were lost and how much taxes increased throughout his mandate. Bush responded by interrupting Kerry as he spoke. Bush said that Kerry did vote for the raise of taxes. Both using their body and hands to express their thoughts and facts. Education, Homosexuality, gay marriage, abortion and immigration were also discussed in this third debate. President Bush and Senator Kerry had a few similarities on their thoughts, however, their similarity was even close to their difference of thoughts and beliefs. They were both well organized, although, Kerry seemed to be more familiar to all the facts brought by him to the debate.
