...men today being a single mother is a reality. Single father raising a kid is a reality as well. What causes single parenthood to ascend? Divorce, rape, aubse, and sudden death of a partner are problbly main reasons for single parenthood today. Our group objective was to find causes of single parenthood and present in class. I was appointed to death and rape case to interpret causes of single parenthood. The death of one of the parent is cause of single parenthood. Mothers might die in childbirth. Diseases could cause the death. In the early decades of this century, children suffered the death of at least one parent ( Whitehead 434). In 1900, almost quarter of children lost one of the parent by the time when they were fifteen years old ( Whitehead 434).
