Competition!
...en trying to sell a house. Slogans, such as “Be all that you can be” and “Be an army of One,” can be seen on the television advertisement for the United States Army. By competing in everyday life, one is going to build a strong character, develop a sense of determination and learn to compromise with others. Competition is not something just for fun, like in a game of chess, but it is the key element for survival. To be successful one must compete at work, in school, and in any other extra activities to rekindle the desire of being the best. The goal, when competing, is to enhance your knowledge, gain valuable skills and go above what is expected. By doing so, one will create a very strong sense of self-confidence. Every task, within the day of competing, has two options or routes: win or lose. When one wins or succeeds in the task, they must attempt a bigger or more challenging task, and try to overcome that task. However, if one loses or fails at the task, they must obtain more knowledge, enhance their skills and then take on the task another time, never giving up on the task. In doing so, one will receive a huge boost of confidence when the task is overcome. The superior people want to see hard work and effort put into the tasks. Those on equal ground will also notice the attention you receive and will become envious or even jealous. In turn they will work harder to compete with others. Eventually everyone will be competing against each other to be the best and if in the workplace, production will increase.
