What have I done to help the community?
...remained in for about five years. Throughout these five years, we visited various nursing homes, we took apart of beach cleanups, we collected food for the needy and much more. Being a Girl Scout took up a lot of time, but never once have I regretted giving up that time because I have always known it was for the better. Once I entered High School, the workload become more intense, and I began to feel myself running out of time. There was so much I wanted to get done, but I never knew how to fit into my busy schedule. I still took apart in various charities to raise money including a dance-a-thon, which raised money to send to help build a hospital for the blind in India. When I became a junior in High School, I was inducted into National Honor Society. Through NHS, we held our annual Bowl-a-thon, and our class raised a lot of money for Muscular Dystrophy. In addition, throughout my four years of High School, I have been apart Interact Club and Key Club, which are both service clubs. I have took apart of beach cleanups, stuffing stockings, clothing drives, food drives, reading to the youth, and much more. As I entered senior year, I enrolled myself in the Community Service program, which has been a great experience so far. I began in an accounting firm and was able to help local accountants do their job. I leaned a lot from this internship.
