...as simple as speaking in a stern voice and using firm language, such as “leave me alone” as opposed to “will you please leave me alone”. You should stand up straight and act confidant and always remain alert also you should not walk alone in dark allies or sidewalks. Most rapists have and use different techniques to begin their attacks. Such as asking for help so that you become closer to them. Or do to opposite and see if you need help. They might even go as far as to purposely bump into your car and then try and assault you when you get out of your car. If you know how to react in these situations then you already know more about how to prevent an attack then most people do. If a rape does happen you must report the attack even though you might be scared or believe that it was your fault and you will get into trouble. Believe it or not most people wouldn’t. If it does occurs most people don’t know what measures to take such as don’t wash your body or your clothes, they could contain valuable evidence. Don’t throw away anything that the attacker might have touched because that to might have evidence that could be helpful in catching the attacker. And to remember that there will always be a place to talk to someone if you need help copping with the situation. But out of all of the things to remember you should remember the most that “the offender is always to blame and that sexual assault is never the fault of the survivor”. (saris) Rape is a serious act of violence that can happen anywhere including on a school campus but alone wit rape there are other acts of violence also. On a school campus the law enforcement program has gotten bigger and better over the years. Colleges are on an everlasting fight to make to school campus safe for students and the teachers. Many colleges now have a program the crime prevention and safety specialists with the law enforcement agencies. They brought a rape prevention program and a group safety program.
