...ry that I kept running into things and getting dizzy. Another difficulty I was faced with was trying to keep the glasses from sliding off down my nose. I had to keep pushing them back up. Taping our fingers together wasn’t as troublesome as the glasses were, but it made it harder to handle things. When I got ingredients and dinnerware out I had to concentrate on getting a better grip so I didn’t drop anything. Mixing the ingredients together wasn’t as tough as I thought it would be. It was actually pretty easy because all I had to do was hold the bowl and stir with a spoon. Measuring the ingredients was another story. It was hard to see exactly when I had enough of a certain ingredient measured. It was also difficult pouring stuff into the measuring cups and spoons. Stuffing my ears with cotton balls didn’t really make a difference to me. I could still hear fine, or so I thought. I understand how older people feel since they can’t hear that well. The only problem was I didn’t hear the timer on the oven go off when the cake was done. Eating the cake as an “older person” was kind of difficult. I kept dropping cake off my fork.
