Men also feel that it is their right to do tell females what to do because they think they are better. Men frequently take advantage of women because history has made women seem inferior to men. Until people like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton started standing up for women’s rights people thought very lowly of women. However, as time has continued women have been gaining more and more power and respect with people. In society men always have been the money-makers and the protectors of family so they feel that they can do what they want. They think that they have priority over women because they are in charge. Today men and women have similar roles in society because with the revolution of technology and the ways of thinking, women have the upper-hand in some occupations. Women have been treated poorly throughout history. They have always been the housewife and the person responsible for cleaning and cooking.
