A Mother's Touch
...My mother’s devotion to her children has been endless and made me understand a mother’s heart. When I was ten, I got into a bicycle accident and my mother had no idea where I was or what happened to me. When I arrived at home bruised and with a chipped tooth, my mother was crying because she had been so worried about me and she was glad nothing more serious happened to me. She aided me and made sure my cuts and bruises were covered. At that moment, I remembered that she would always take care of me no matter what. My mother’s love and compassion towards me helped me grow as a child. Ever since my father passed away, my mother had the responsibility to support our family. My mother would wake up every morning at five-thirty to cook us breakfast, make our lunch and then head to work. When she arrived home, she would cook us dinner. Even though she had the choice to remarry, she decided willingly that she wanted to focus on herself and her children. Her unselfish actions resulted in her children’s successes with their own lives.
