Becoming a Sports Commentator

He would say things like “genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration and nothing succeeds like success”. These sayings resinated with me and I began collecting them everywhere I went. When our local Kiwanis Club decided to put on a cricket match, I was very excited at the possibilities that maybe I could try out my commentating skills. I can still remember it as if it was yesterday, I went up to my neighbor who was the announcer and ask him if I could call the game for five minutes. All the people present were familiar to me so I was just a little nervous. I remember it was the very last over of the match and my team was down by four runs with two balls to spare, it was the perfect foil.
