Three characters from this novel are Sunflash, Skalrath, and Swartt Sixclaw. Sunflash is a strong male badger. He is very large and is the main character. Skalrath is a male sparhawk, who is very viscous and noble. He is Sunflash’s friend. Sixclaw is an evil ferret who leads an army of vermin against Sunflash. Swartt is a lying, cheating, and an overall bad person. I think that this novel had a couple of themes. They are to always be a good person and not to cheat. The author emphasizes these themes by telling about how Swartt’s evil army was a group of immoral characters that steal and murder innocents. In the end of the story, every one of the vermin were killed. The central conflict in this book is the battle between good and evil.
