Are Motor Cycles Any Dangerous Than Cars
...t is a horrible accident. There is never a question about the continued use and need for cars as a transportation necessity. I am doing this project because I feel that it may confirm that motorcycles are not as dangerous as my mom and many other people think, and I will be more knowledgable when I try and defend motorcycles as a real form of transportation. Procedure: My procedure for this project is: 1. Gather information on car and motorcyle traffic accidents and fatalities. Collect information for the country, state and city of Atlanta. 2. Read the information gathered to be more knowledgeable about traffic accidents, cars and motorcycles. Find out if there are other information to consider. 3. Interview people who ride motorcycles and drive cars. Develop a list of interview questions to understand what they think. 4. Record the information and results. 5. Based on the information and interviews, form a conclusion. Sources of Information: Most of the information that I have received came from the Prodigy Internet. I have received the number of deaths in cars for the date of 1990-1996. In 1990 24,092 have died in car accidents. In 1991 22,385 people died in car accidents. In 1992 21,387have died from car accidents. In 1993 21,566 people died from car accidents. In 1994 21,997 people died from car accidents. In 1995 21,423 people died from car accidents.
