When, soon, he seems to be provided with the terrifying information that Faith is proceeding him to the covenant, he sinks into total despair and rushes forward along this evil path. As he approaches the natural alter in the woods, he saw many of his fellow church members and officers, but what was most distressing was the sight of his young, beautiful and pure wife.
As he screams to yell to her to look heavenward and resist the wicked one, he seemed to be thrust forward in time. The Alter was cool and the twigs that had been covered with fire were damp with dew. At dawn he again entered the village, but with an entirely different set of eyes. Disillusioned, distrustful, and depressed, his life is forever changed. His relationship with Faith is forever damaged, his happiness stolen, his hope extinguished. Was this a dream? Was it real? Did good triumph over evil? Does this battle rage on? These are questions one ponders in the depths of the night………
Steven Spielberg has done many movies and is one of the top directors of this time. Spielberg draws as many if not more people to the movies as some top actors do. Spielberg’s knowledge and artistry with CGI (computer enhanced imagery) can enhance the movies appeal a lot. I believe with his talent and recognition as one of the top directors he can be a top asset to this production.
The physical needs of this production do not require a lot of things. For on location shooting I will base this in Old Sturbridge Village. It is a village that has been redone to look like it did back in the time this story takes place. For the woods it can be done anywhere we can find. Not many sets are going to have to be made the Alter in the woods and the rock, are about the only two things.
Costumes will have to be made for this movie. They will be made to mimic what people of this time would be wearing. The costumes designs will try incorporate people of wealth, poor, and what priests and others wore at this time.
For the cast that I will be hiring in this movie are all people I think will fit the part the best. I will be casting Elijah wood for Goodman Brown. He is a young actor who played in
