...not have a handicap ,but one could say her lack of intelligent could have been her handicap. Harrison was a seven foot fourteen yea old. He had more then one handicap . I did no like any of the character in the story , because no one was different. The reader could see that he was very much different form everyone. In “Kirk Kirk” author Edwidge Danticat talk about he girl through the past women in her life. In the reading it talks about how the women of the girls past had paved the way for her to be able to read. By what was being said Mr. Danticat wanted to show the reader what the women of the past went through so that the little girl was able read. I liked the character in the story. I felt that she saw and understood what was done in order for her to read. In “ Cathedral” by Raymond Carver he gave the reader an idea of who each character was , and how they felt about each other.
