Types of Shoppers
...er vigorously looking at through each camera for twenty minutes each she then decided she wanted a something else. Instead of a regular digital camera she decided she wanted a camcorder that also took still pictures. I showed her the different types of camcorder we had but still she wasn’t for sure if she wanted it. She looked through them as she did with the digital cameras, spending much time on each camcorder but still was not able to make a decision. It was two hours later from when I began helping her, and then she finally made up her mind as to which camera she wanted to purchase. The item she decided to buy ended up being the first item I showed her. Unlike the picky shoppers the sale shoppers walk in the store with an agenda. They’ve already looked through the catalog they received in the mail and made up their mind as to what item they want to buy. The sale shoppers are always their as soon as the store opens, they want to be the first ones to purchase the items that are on sale. I am fond of these shoppers because they are less stressful to help. For instance, during the “after Thanksgiving sale” last year their were tons of people in the parking lot waiting for the store to open. As soon as we opened the doors the crowd rushed inside the looking for the sale items they wanted to buy. They found what they wanted, purchased the item then left. .The look don’t buy shoppers are the most irritating out of these three. They are the shoppers who look and look and they don’t buy anything. They open boxes to view the actual size of the item, after looking over it they don’t bother putting the item inside the box, leaving it scattered on the shelves or even on the floor.
