...h LSD and after that her life is all about drugs. In her diary she explains exactly what she thinking, seeing, and feeling. She sees different colors, pictures, and really screwed up images. She has never even smoked a cigarette and the only alcohol she has ever had was some champagne. Now the girl is on LSD and everything goes down hill from there. She keeps hanging out with these friends and the next thing you know she is tripping on acid. She really starts right out into doing the hardcore drugs like, acid, LSD. Most teens that start to use drugs the first they do is some marijuana. Alice’s parents start to notice how her attitude is changing, her clothes is different and how she does her hair is different. However, they never realize she is using drugs. In school she is selling drugs to 9 and 10 year olds. Her grades are dropping and all she has on her mind is where is she going to get her next fix and how? Her and her friend Chris decide its time to move, they have to leave they do not want a life on drugs so they have to leave. They find jobs and stayed clean for a while. Until, the woman that Chris works for invites them to a party and they got introduced to heroin and got raped and beaten and then they decided to move to Berkley and get off the drugs again. Alice’s life is on drugs then off drugs. She started her diary on September 16 and it ends on September 21 a year later. Its states at the end of the book that Alice never started another diary and three weeks after she had quit with this one. Her parents came home from a movie and found her dead.
