...ned the drawer of his desk and took out his revolver. In the cold classroom only lighted by the fire he knew he would have to be ready to fight for his life at any time. Daru put his revolver in his pocket and proceeded to make himself some coffee, for he knew he would not be getting any sleep. After preparing the coffee Daru pulled his old creaking rocking chair near the fire, and sat their contemplating what he would do if they came. Daru then started to question himself. He slowly got up, walked over to his desk, opened the drawer, and placed the gun back in the drawer. He made his way back to his rocking chair and slowly drank his coffee in very small sips. It was about midnight now and Daru kept finding himself turning around every few minutes and looking at the door. He used the inside of his cloak to wipe away the wetness on his face. Right when he was doing this the hens started fluttering. Daru jumped up at once and looked around the classroom and then quickly made his way under his desk. A couple of minutes later Daru heard foot steps outside the classroom. Daru noticed a small whole in his desk that allowed him to see the classroom door. A few seconds later Daru made out two Arabs standing in the doorway. They were dressed in ragged, torn clothes and both had a mangled long beard. For weapons they only had a six inch dagger each. After seeing their weapons Daru slowly and as quietly as he could opened his drawer and pulled out his revolver. The Arabs were making their way around the classroom. Daru stood up and pointed the gun at one of the Arabs. “You get out of my school this instant.” Daru yelled in Arab. “We will not, for you have turned in our brother,” The Arab with the gun pointed at him said. “You will have to kill me first.”...
