...ame flying through the air. The Amazons retreated to the trees while Livia and Anmarice were left to defend themselves. As Lisa drew her sword to defend them both, Anmarice ducked and dogged what she could. Then there was a scream and one of the Amazons fell from a tree. It was Janine! Sarah seized the moment and ran to help her. When she reached her she shielded Janine’s body with her own. Janine’ last words were to Sarah, “ I want you to have my right of cast.” Just as she spoke Jessica, Janine’s good friend, ran to help. Then Janine crossed over to the other side. Back at camp, Queen Marissa was very angry at the fact of her sister’s death. Just then Jessica came back with a centaur in chains, “ I caught him trying to escape across the river, and look these are his arrows.” Taking one from his quiver. Queen Marissa ordered him to be taken away and thrown in a cell. Marissa went to her hut and shortly after the warlord Krykus. He told Marissa that he will not act as an enemy or ally to amazons. Marissa agreed and he left as Lisa entered the hut. Marissa explained that Philip, the centaur, was the murderer of Janine. Lisa explained that the centaurs were being lead by Travis, Philip’s father and that she should not kill Philip until his guilt is proven. Lisa exited the hut and told Sarah to stay out of trouble and that the Amazons would protect her. After Lisa left, Jessica informed Marissa that Janine had given Sarah her right of cast. Marissa then told Sarah that by Janine giving her the right of cast that Sarah now owned all of her belongings and her position. Sarah was now an Amazon princess. Marissa then told Jessica that she needs to be taught. Lisa had reached centaur land and was then attacked by a group of centaurs and men. Lisa used her battle skills to fend off the angry centaurs. Near the end, one of the men threw a knife at Lisa and she caught it, after commenting on the curved blade and the red jewel on the handle, she dropped the knife and exclaimed that she meant good and that she believed that Philip was not the murderer. Sarah had just finished dressing in Janine’s clothes when Jessica walked in and stated in firm tone, “Come, now.” Then Sarah replied, “ I’m sorry, you must have me mistaken for a pet.” Then Jessica said, in a sarcastic less demanding tone, “ Would you come with me.” Then she followed. Jessica explained that every Amazon is taught to use weapons from birth, then she told her to pick her first. After scanning over the weapons she picked up a fighting staff, and they began her first lesson. Lisa was examining the site where they were attacked the day of the murder. Then she just so happened to bump into Jessica. Lisa explained that as soon as a centaur or an Amazon kill the other the war couldn’t be stopped. Lisa believed that Philip was innocent and that he was framed. They realized that the hooves prints, from where the attackers were hidden, that the back hoof prints went deeper than the front and centaurs carry their weight and their front hooves. After that they went to Krykus’s camp to work out something. While Lisa talked to him Jessica was looking around for proof that Philip was framed. In Krykus’s tent there was a map of the area, it showed him as absolute ruler of the land. Krykus said, thinking out loud, “ A battle between the hooves and the harlots, I wonder who would win.” Then Lisa replied, “ That’s easy, any self respecting warlord who smart enough to claim the land after they’ve wiped each other out.” Krykus drew his dagger and plunged it into the table for Lisa’s accusation of him murdering Janine. While Jessica was snooping around she found a box of centaur arrows just like the ones that killed Janine. Then Lisa pulled the dagger out of the table and commented on the curved blade and red jewel, she had noticed that it was the same kind of dagger that the man from the centaur camp had had. Just then Jessica threw a guy through the tent wall tearing a giant hole. Krykus called for backup, but Lisa pulled the brace of the tent out and then ran before anyone could catch up to them. Meanwhile back at the Amazon camp they danced to drums and chants. One of the Amazons made Sarah dance, being the new Amazon princess, Sarah argued saying that she had two left feet facing backwards and that they wouldn’t let her dance at the crop festival because she brought a bad harvest. Then the queen walked out and the drums and chants stopped and every one got down on their knees and bowed. Sarah didn’t see the queen appear and didn’t notice that everything had stopped so she continued to dance. When she realized that everyone else was on their knees she followed. Then the queen instructed to bring the princess up. Sarah was escorted to a small platform where the queen stood. She announced that tomorrow at noon Phantes would be brought to justice with Janice’s sword. Sarah then informed Marissa that she couldn’t kill someone. Then Marissa explained that to refuse would...
