'Everyman'-morality play
...a upodobali sobie niektórzy twórcy dwudziestego wieku - zarówno prozy, jak i dramatu The best known morality play is "everyman" which is a story of a man who is visited by Death and given some time to prepare his book of good & bad deeds(emphasizing what he had achieved in his life)Everyman asks Death to allow him to take companions in his journey but although she agrees,none of them(Fellowship,Kindred,Five Wits etc.)agrees to join Everyman when told of the character of the journey.So there is only Knowledge left as Good Deeds are too weak to join in.In the end Everyman can rely only on his Good deeds which recover and go with him to the grave.
