My First Flight

... nervous I hardly wanted to go on the plane. But I had a little help from my dad. Since he was the pilot, he made things a little easier for me. The only thing that got to me was the altitude, which was how high you are from ground level. There were times when we would be at least between ten thousand to thirty thousand feet in the air. To look down and see houses, buildings and car the size of ants was a little scary at first. But once I overcame my fear of heights, it wasn’t so bad. On my first flight I felt very sick on the stomach. My dad told me that I have to get use to the turbulence. To me I felt like I was on a roll-a-coaster and I was going up and down, and up and down. My stomach just had that funny feeling. Also my ears kept popping because of the high altitude. When you get to a certain altitude that your body is not use to, your ears start to pop. Your body tries to decompress its self. I had to chew gum to help me my ears from popping. On the other hand, I did experience some good times on my first flight.
