...er than your foot and that the width is about twice that length. Now, to begin: first you must trace your foot in the middle of the paper with the long part horizontal when you look down at it. Next, take your foot off the paper and make a rough trace around the one of your foot that is about a quarter of an inch wider. It should look like the soles of your previous shoes. Next, put your foot back in the tracing and wrap the paper around your foot on each side. With a pen or pencil, mark on the shoe where your toes bend at. Second, you should draw a line where the top of your foot is. This is a little below where your foot and leg connect at. Now you’re going to have to draw the top part of the shoe onto the paper using these lines. First, you should draw the lines better. These lines are to show you the placement and thickness of the strap that holds the shoe on. They should be approximately 4 inches wide and long. At this point you need to make a clasp to hold the shoe in place. To do this you’re going to need to make the width of the top pieces of the shoe smaller as they come further out. These means if it starts out at 4 inches you should probably have one end at about an inch and the other end it about the same. The only thing to consider with the other end, though, is that you’re going to have to make the holding knob in it, which is going to look like the top of a mushroom or a little less than half circle. Then, on the other end you should cut a long straight slash where the holding knob will fit in and stay in place. It would be helpful if you put the shoe on to make sure everything is in the right spot, and it will close correctly and stay on.
