American Express Human Resource department found that there’s a direct correlation between their employee programs on financial planning principles and employee or company improvements. They found that employees have less stress, greater productivity, increased employee satisfaction, greater employee participation in its work, and better knowledge of how to financially benefit them. They also surveyed their employees, and discovered that after taking these financial programs, 56% of employees who participated said they have a better perception of their financial situation; 70% believed that the program help change their investment strategy; and that 75% reported that they feel they are making wiser financial decisions.
