...es. If we want teenagers to be safe, we need to help theme learn about ways to protect themselfs. For this reason all high schools must be riquired to teach mandatory self-defense classes. The main reason why self-defense courses are a neccessiry is for basic protection. Throughtthe years, teens have been the objects of ridicule,bullying and crime. With the growing rate of violence twords youth , self-defense is required for survival. On the other hand, some parents might argue that instead of bettering the lives of there lives of their children, self-defense courses might promot violence. However, once teenagers reach the high school level, they egin to gain a sense of maturity and should know that self-defense needs to be taken seriousley in order to combat the violance that already exists in our world.
