Since I have been at KVCC I have met people from many social backgrounds. I have learned many different things and have found the evidence from the Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation to be true. Being a business major, knowing how to communicate with others is the key to being successful. My dad has owned a company for nearly fifteen years now and by watching him I know that talking to people is the best way of learning new things about how to run a company and creating clientele in a business. Aside from meeting new people there is the chance to expand my knowledge. “In fact, those whose education stops with a high school diploma may see their real wage decline over time,” states the University of North Texas. This shows us that going further with my education can create more options for me in a future coming sooner than later. More knowledge can help me to being successful and can only be done by attending college. Not only will furthering my education give me more options it will help me to meet my long term goals. I am hoping to make a great income and help to support a family of my own. Without college my chances of accomplishing this goal are very slim. There aren’t very many people today that are making a great living off an hourly income based on a high school diploma. College is here to help me reach any goals I have to becoming a business major and maybe running my own business one day. Because KVCC pretty much allows anyone with a high school diploma attend their college any student is able to future my education without meeting the expectations a University may have.
