...n. In my opinion she’s making the point that it’s all excessive. And it’s true; we as a society becomes addictive, until your credit cards are max and you have no cash left. It’s sad. Only to realize that you’re still not in style, sorry it has changed it in a month. I honestly belie that we as consumers have no discipline. Well I’m sorry very few of us do. For some it can cover a problem. For example over-eating, depression, peer-pressure, the list goes on and on until the end of time. What some need to realize as consumers is after you purchase the item the problem ( I promise you) will not disappear, it will only worsen, by becoming a habit. Good habits are fabulous to have, they get you out of problems, but bad habits take a lot of determination and persistence to get out of. If I know this and I’m not a regular shopper you must know that corporate offices know too. They spend millions to hit your soft spot; making you weak enough to purchase that must have item and go into never ending debt. It’s absurd I know. The paragraph I enjoyed most was the contrast between the department and the supermarket. She described the department store making women feel as royalty, like a queen as home, making the feel as part with something.
