Popular Voting and Fairness
...oral votes would the system outright fail and if so why? If not, why won't they get rid of them and use the popular voting system, which would be a vote directly by the people? It sounds just like a political scam to me. The people should be able to determine who gets in for presidents. Which ever candidate that gets the most votes gets the win. Electoral voting can be complicating and is not the easiest way of voting. It doesn’t give you the true feeling of the entire country. Electoral voting could be a well though out cheating plan. Something so simple should be done in a simple way, why can’t they just put it so simple like popular voting? Back when the electoral college was made up people were more honest, trustworthy, and a lot less likely to lie than it is these days with all the lying, scamming, ETC.
