...he ticker tape wasn’t perfect either. I do believe that my results are fairly close and the point gets across with the linear slope of the velocity time graph. This lab did prove frustrating with all the possible sources of error but I am happy enough with the results I got. I like cream cheese. There are many sources of error for this lab. To begin with, we know that this is not exactly the acceleration due to gravity because the mass was not in a vacuum and there was additional friction from the edge of the table acting on the mass. Being able to lift my finger without any big influence on the ticker tape wasn’t easy. Reading the distances between dots on the ticker tape wasn’t perfect either.
